THE HUMAN ABSTRACT: New Album Title Revealed
October 1, 2010Los Angeles-based metallers THE HUMAN ABSTRACT have set "Digital Veil" as the title of their new album, due in early 2011 via Hopeless Records. The CD was recorded earlier this year at The Machine Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey with producer William Putney (LAMB OF GOD, SUICIDE SILENCE).
A short preview clip for the new CD is available below.
"These new songs are among the most difficult THE HUMAN ABSTRACT songs to play, but at the same time are more satisfying," guitarist Dean Herrera previously stated. "Past songs sometimes felt more like exercises, these feel more well-rounded, with moments that are really fun to play."
THE HUMAN ABSTRACT recently announced a lineup change, with the addition of frontman and vocalist Travis Richter, formerly of FROM FIRST TO LAST and THE COLOR OF VIOLENCE. The band also welcomed back original guitarist/songwriter A.J. Minette, who led the way in the songwriting department for the new record.
"Without a doubt, this album has allowed me to step up not only as a bass player but as a musician," stated bassist Henry Selva. "We're stronger than ever before. I am super-pumped for all our fans old and new to hear it."
THE HUMAN ABSTRACT's sophomore full-length album, "Midheaven", came out in August 2008 via Hopeless Records.
